Kyocera Australia

Kyocera was first established in 1959 in Japan.  They were known for spearheading the use of ceramics as a credible alternative to steel and plastics. Kyocera is now a market leader in various technologies from solar energy and optics to telecommunications hardware and automotive components amongst others. By 2013 Kyocera employed over 71,000 people across the world.

Kyocera made its move to Australia in 1989, receiving Government Endorsed Supplier Status in 1994. Kyocera acquired Mita Corporation a global copier manufacturer in early 2000, leading to Kycocera Mita Australia being formed in October 2000.  Acquisitions of General Business Machines and Action Copiers have extended Kyocera Mita's presence across all major cities in Australia.

Kyocera Mita changed its name to Kyocera Document Solutions in April 2012 to reflect the companies continual expansion as a world supplier of technological and environmental solutions that meet customers needs.  Kyocera Document Solutions Australia is one of the world's leading document management companies, delivering cutting-edge printers and multifunction devices for Australian businesses.

Kyocera has been a leader in developing environmentally friendly products that still offer consumers high value for money. This was the main thinking behind the development of ECOSYS (Economy, Ecology and Systems) Technology. Kyocera launched the cartridge-free ECOSYS printer concept in 1992 to reduce the overall cost of printing whilst postively improving the environmental impact of printing for the consumer. ECOSYS printers have a durable imaging system which is based on Kyocera's patented amorphous silicon print drum. The drum is made from a combination of ceramic and metal with a surface hardness that is only surpassed by diamonds. The print drum is guaranteed up to 500,000 pages on some of their printer models. The genuine Kyocera toner has tony ceramic particles in it to prolong the life of the drum.

The overall result of this technology is greater reliability, reduced waste, lower printing costs and less maintenance. This adds up to a large saving for businesses.

Ink Depot offers a wide range of genuine Kyocera printing products to its customers.  From toner cartridges to waste bottles.
