Maybe the price of the item is not their fault but ... .I wanted an insert for a fountain pen to use refillable ink rather than capsules (who ever thought they were a good idea?). For a pissy bit of plastic I had to pay $27 with post. I suspect the post is a profit centre for the company. Even with a fair nd reasonable mark-up to cover overheads and costs of keeping a business afloat the price for what the item is seems excessive. They must buy them by the box because it came wrapped in bubble wrap and left me to figure out how it works. And why are pens not sold with them as standard. I'm not an environmentalist but even I can see the plastic/ink ratio of capsules is absurd. But it is installed and works so there is a happy ending.
